Prices & Payment
IGUANA ESCAPES will only reserve space on a tour with receipt of registration form and deposit for each person participating. The deposit amount is $ 1,000.00 per tour. The deposit is non-refundable after 14 calendar days from receipt of deposit.
Your invoiced balance is due in full 30 days prior to departure. If balance is not received 30 days prior to departure IGUANA ESCAPES will no longer hold your reservation and reserves the right to book an alternate client. If space is available, it will be held for you with the following conditions: If the payment of the balance is received 8-20 days prior to departure, late fee increases to 20% of total cost. All payments made to IGUANA ESCAPES may be made by check, money order or Pay Pal. Checks drawn on foreign banks must be imprinted by the bank as payable in U. S. funds. IGUANA ESCAPES reserves the right to refuse acceptance or deny participation prior to departure to anyone it deems unsuitable for a tour.
Late Sign-Up
IGUANA ESCAPES cannot guarantee acceptance of late sign-ups. If we are able to accept deposits less than 30 days before a tour departure, a late sign-up fee of 10% of the total cost will be assessed to cover administrative charges necessary to expedite your reservation, transmit your departure materials, etc. Balance payment will also be due at the time of booking.
Reservations
IGUANA ESCAPES encourages early reservations as some tours fill several months before departure. Please remember: we cannot confirm your space on a tour if you have not sent a completed registration form and deposit. This registration form contains a detailed Traveler’s Assumption of Risk. A final pre-tour package will be e-mailed to you 1-2 weeks prior to your departure. You must provide IGUANA ESCAPES with an e-mail address to which the final pre-tour package may be sent. This package will include but not be limited to: last minute reminders, hotel/resort information, group information, and all necessary contact data for your trip. If you are leaving your home address before the scheduled tour departure date, it is YOUR responsibility to notify IGUANA ESCAPES so alternate arrangements can be made to get you your final pre-tour package.
Requirements
IGUANA ESCAPES participants are required to obtain a signed certification of good health by their physician.
Safety first: A full coverage or flip-up style full coverage helmet, full fingered gloves, coverage riding jacket or suit with protective armor and riding shoes/boots must be worn at all times when your motorbike is in motion.
To participate in an IGUANA ESCAPES you must be at least 25 years of age , possess a valid international motorcycle driver’s license and have at least 5,000 miles or 8,000 kilometers minimum riding experience on a (-at least-) 650 cc powered motorcycle.
You should feel comfortable riding in urban traffic, relatively long distances, also in bad weather and roads with varying surface conditions.
IGUANA ESCAPES includes your motorcycle insurance for legal liability made available by the motorcycle manufacturer/rental company. This provides third part liability insurance with a minimum coverage combined package.
In addition for the motorcycle itself a collision and comprehensive insurance with a Loss Damage Waiver. No other insurance coverage's are included or implied on rental use.
Drivers using their own motorcycles on tours will not be provided by any insurance covered by IGUANA ESCAPES.
IGUANA ESCAPES reserves the right to upgrade a particular motorcycle at no additional charge to the participant based upon operational considerations. A security deposit of US $2,500.00 to US $3,500.00 (depending on motorcycle type) will need to be deposited at the start of the tour by means of credit card, PayPal or similar. When the undamaged motorcycle is returned, the safety deposit will be fully refunded.
Promotion
Participants understand that IGUANA ESCAPES makes photographs and videos of them along with other tour members, motorcycles and events during a tour.
These images could be used by IGUANA ESCAPES for future brochures, internet homepages, advertising, magazine articles, and other promotional uses. These images are the property of IGUANA ESCAPES and any copyright reside with IGUANA ESCAPES.
Cancellations
If you must cancel your trip prior to departure, money will be refunded less the cancellation fees on the following schedule:

- Cancellation and determination of cancellation fee is effective on the date of our receipt of your written notification.
- In addition, you are responsible for all your airfare or other personal or public means of transportation to our tour location.
- Payments due at the time of cancellation remain the responsibility of the client.
No partial refunds are possible for unused hotel rooms, motorcycle rentals, meals, events or other sight-seeing arrangements included in our program.
Resolution of Disputes
The parties will make every effort, in good faith to settle disputes reasonably and without resort to legal action. This failing, the parties agree the dispute will be settled through binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association in Florida, USA.
Air Travel Arrangements or Other Means of Public Transportation
IGUANA ESCAPES does not arrange for the above or tickets. Please contact our office and we will be happy to provide recommendations regarding reservations and flights
Trip Substitution
You may substitute one trip for another upon written request and approval by IGUANA ESCAPES. More than 30 days before departure, the deposit transfer fee is $ 400.00 per person. Less than 30 days before departure, full cancellation penalties for the original tour apply. In the event IGUANA ESCAPES cancels a tour, you may transfer the full amount of your tour payments to another IGUANA ESCAPES one.
